Dr. Starr Eko Brown is a movement specialist dedicated to helping people return to the activities they love. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and holds a Master of Science in Human Movement Science Research from Vrije University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

With a strong background in biomechanics, Starr has published peer‑reviewed research on balance control and gait mechanics and remains an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her clinical interests include gait biomechanics, post‑surgical rehabilitation, sports performance, overuse injuries, post‑traumatic musculoskeletal conditions, and work‑ or stress‑related musculoskeletal disorders.

A Life Rooted in Movement & Nature
Outside of physical therapy, Starr can be found exploring the outdoors with her husband and their Collie. She enjoys hiking, trail running, mountain biking, skiing, camping, kayaking, and paddle boarding — passions that inspire her commitment to helping others stay active in the beautiful Flathead and Swan River Valleys.
